| Water Rescue |
| Lancaster City Firefighters are trained to respond to various incidents involving water rescue. They are proficient in still water rescues involving spine board immobilization as well as swift water rescue using throw bags and lifelines. The members of the swift water team are issued warm and wet suits as well as all personal flotation and safety equipment necessary for their safety and a successful rescue. |
