- The Lancaster Fire Department is an ISO Class Two department.
- First out engines and the aerial platform have a 2,000 gallon per minute pumping
capacity.
- In-house training is conducted by IFSAC instructors.
- All line officers are nationally certified through IFSAC to the Fire Officer I level.
- Firefighters utilize two thermal imagers for increased effectiveness in rescue and
fire fighting operations.
